PIT STOP ADVERTISING

Own your exit.

Every day, drivers on the interstate decide where to stop while your exit is still miles ahead. Pit Stop is where they look — a top-ranked travel app, 22,000+ exit guide pages on Google, and the pages AI assistants read. One business owns each exit. It should be yours.

One spot. Three places drivers see it.

Your sponsorship isn't a banner ad. It's the featured position for your exit, everywhere travelers look up what's there.

📱
In the app, on the road

Drivers using Pit Stop on iPhone and CarPlay see your business featured at the top of your exit as they approach — with your message and a one-tap Navigate button that routes them to your door.

🔎
On Google, before the trip

Travelers google exits when they plan routes. Your exit's guide page ranks for those searches, and your business sits at the top of it with a link, your offer, and your pitch.

In AI answers

When people ask ChatGPT, Gemini or Grok where to stop, the answers come from structured pages like ours. The featured spot is the first thing the AIs read about your exit. Almost no local business has a way into AI answers yet. This is one.

$10 a month. One customer covers it.

If the spot brings you a single traveler a month, it's paid for itself. Two, and you're ahead. There's no cheaper way to reach people who are already driving past your business — no ad auctions, no agencies, no minimum spend. And because there's only one spot per exit, you're not bidding against a pile of competitors. You either own your exit or someone else does.

How it works

1Claim your exit

Enter your exit and business name, pay through Stripe, and the spot is yours — about a minute, first come, first served. Card details go to Stripe, never to us.

2Fill in your listing

Checkout drops you into your sponsor account. Write your message and traveler offer there — your featured card goes live in the app, on CarPlay, and on your exit's guide page within a day.

3Watch it work

Your sponsor account shows view and tap counts so you can see people finding you, and you can edit your listing anytime. Cancel whenever, no contract.

Launch pricing. $10/month is our early-adopter rate while we get the advertising platform off the ground. The rate for new sponsors goes up soon — but early sponsors keep $10/month for as long as they hold their exit.

One business per exit. First come, first served.

If your exit is still open, a minute of checkout locks it down — before a competitor does.

Who you're dealing with

Pit Stop isn't an ad network. I'm Jake, a dad of five. My oldest plays travel hockey and soccer, my three girls are in competitive cheer, and the baby comes along for all of it. We drive about 30,000 miles a year, which is exactly why this app exists: I built it for my own family's road trips, and the featured spots pay for me to keep building it.

When you claim your spot you're dealing with me directly. Reply to any email and it's me who answers, usually from a rink or a cheer gym parking lot.

Common questions

Why only one business per exit?
Because that's the whole point. You're not buying an ad slot in a pile of ads — you own the exit. One featured business, full stop. First come, first served; if your exit is taken you can join the waitlist and we'll email you the moment it opens.
Who actually sees my placement?
Three audiences: drivers approaching your exit in the Pit Stop app (iPhone + CarPlay), travelers who land on your exit's guide page from Google while planning a trip, and increasingly the AI assistants (ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok) that read our pages when someone asks what's at an exit. Our guides get thousands of search impressions a month and growing.
What exactly do I get to put up?
Your business name featured at the top, a custom message in your own words ("Best brisket on I-75" beats a name in a list), an optional traveler offer so you can tell it's working at the register, and a Navigate button that sends drivers straight to your door via Apple or Google Maps.
How do I know it's working?
Your sponsor account shows how many people saw your placement and how many tapped through to navigate or visit your site. If you add a traveler offer, you'll also see it walk in the door.
Can I change my listing or cancel?
Anytime. You get a login at own.pit-stop-app.com where you can edit your message and offer, update billing, or cancel. No contract — if you cancel, your spot simply opens back up at the end of the period you paid for.
Is my business already in Pit Stop?
Almost certainly — we index 700,000+ places across 19,675 interstate exits. Your free listing stays no matter what. Sponsorship moves you from "in the list" to "the first thing they see."
Why is it only $10 a month?
It's our launch rate while the advertising platform is new — early sponsors are taking a small bet on us, so they get a price that will never be offered again. The rate for new sponsors goes up as exits get claimed, but whatever you lock in is yours for as long as you hold your exit. The annual plan ($100/year, two months free) locks your exit down for a full year.
What if my exit is already taken?
Join the waitlist from your exit's claim page. If the current sponsor ever lets it go, everyone on the waitlist gets an email the moment the spot opens — first to claim it wins.
